1. What Taxrithm is — and is not
Taxrithm is preparation software. It helps you prepare an Income-tax Return and produces a CBDT-compliant JSON file that you download and upload to the income-tax portal yourself. We do not file returns on your behalf and are not an e-Return Intermediary in this version.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the credentials and the security of your account; notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Your responsibility for accuracy (Sec 277)
The figures in a return are yours. Before you can download the filing JSON, you complete a declaration that the information is true and correct. You are responsible for verifying the computed figures against your source documents.
4. No tax or legal advice
Taxrithm provides software, not tax or legal advice. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.
5. Fees & refunds
Plan prices are shown on the site. You pay only when you generate the final filing JSON, and GST applies at the prevailing rate. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us — any refund is limited to the fee paid for the affected return.
6. Limitation of liability
Taxrithm is preparation software; the figures in your return are your responsibility (see Section 3). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fee you paid for the affected return, and we are not liable for tax assessed, interest, or penalties arising from the information you provide.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
